Look elsewhere if
Your instrument has active electronics, a piezo preamp or a deeply recessed output jack.

Where the U2 fits
U2 setup takes three steps: plug in, match the channel and play. It is best suited to conventional passive electric guitars.
It is not the universal option its shape suggests. Xvive documents interference with some active and piezo electronics, and 2.4 GHz can be a busy place in venues. Test the exact guitar and performance environment before depending on it live.
